We welcomed Akta Shukla, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, to Amin Medical Center in June 2017. Akta completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Temple University. She then graduated with honors from her Master of Science program at Thomas Jefferson University. Akta spent a number of years as a Nurse Practitioner caring for patients with complex, acute, and chronic illnesses in the nursing home setting. Prior to that, she was a staff RN at Hahnemann University Hospital on the med/surg unit for over 4 years. Akta enjoys her rapport with patients, while educating them about treatment goals and healthy lifestyles. She has an in depth knowledge of diabetes management, especially in regards to the South Asian diet. Akta is multilingual: speaking English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
Amin Medical Center is very pleased to announce the addition of Timothy Fiorillo, D.O. to our practice beginning January 3, 2023!
Dr. Fiorillo is a board-certified physician who has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a lifelong resident of Montgomery County.
Dr. Fiorillo is a strong proponent of preventive medicine and is certified to perform CDL examinations. He is also currently certified in Pennsylvania to provide medical marijuana card evaluations. Dr. Fiorillo has served as a board member and director on numerous local and regional quality care organizations.
We are certain that Dr. Fiorillo is an excellent fit for Amin Medical Center. Together we will continue to work as a team to provide our patients and the community with clinical excellence, quality care, and personalized guidance for many years to come.
